The oversized chess pieces
Two chess pieces stand on the board, big enough to see from across the room. One of them has clearly been thinking since Tuesday.
The checkerboard
Alternating squares make up a tidy board. Every square has an equal chance of hosting the next good move.
The steaming cup
A small cup sits beside the board with a curl of steam rising. Rook says the kettle was the bold move all along.
The table sign
A cream sign tucked under the roof gives the table its name. Every good game deserves a title card.
The sturdy table legs
Two wooden legs keep the table steady, so every opening move stays exactly where it was put.
